On Sunday, July 22nd the Bayview Hunters Point community will host its 3rd annual Bayview Music Festival in partnership with “Sunday Streets”, a city-wide event sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of San Francisco.

The Bayview Music Festival and Sunday Streets is co-sponsored by the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center/Third Street Corridor Project, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, SF Mayor Office of Economic and Workforce Development, Bayview Merchants’ Association, Bayview YMCA, Bayview Opera House, SF Police Department and BMAGIC.

This festival is Bayview Hunters Point’s biggest community-wide celebration of the year. It brings together families and individuals to enjoy healthy, family, friendly activities such as: biking, roller skating, and walking the Third Street corridor, along with our popular Shrimp and Grits and Church Desserts contests and a new Bayview Bar-B-Que Cook-off. This year’s event will introduce exciting features such as Circus Bella, and a youth basketball tournament.

In addition, the festival will feature live music and entertainment, children’s activities, arts and crafts, community services and information booths.
